How it all started...
In 1992, Bishop Dwight H. McDaniels Jr. installed Elder Willie McMiller to Pastor a church located at 4954 San Francisco Avenue in St. Louis City. The Lord dealt with Pastor McMiller to name the new ministry "Brotherly Love", which was the essence of his ministry, teaching love and fellowship among the saints.
Expanding the vision...
In the year 2000 the ministry had a calling to relocate to 7348 West Florissant Avenue, in Jennings, MO. A name change was adopted and the church became known thereafter as "Brotherly Love West Christian Assembly". Brotherly Love West flourished and grew. Brotherly Love had faithful members. Many ministries were birthed and operated with emphasis on reaching the community.
Where we are now...
On June 25, 2011 a campus with multiple buildings located at 12100 Larimore Rd in Spanish Lake, MO was purchased. The Lord led Pastor McMiller to plant a new church called River of Life Christian Ministries on this property. River of Life was officially birthed on Novermber 6, 2011.
The church was dedicated by Pastor Dewitt Hill, Pastor McMiller's spiritual father of Pine Bluff, AR. Under his leadership, River of Life has grown and still remains faithful to the will of God.
